In addition to providing in-home Grandfather clock repair for Arlington Texas, I also cover the greater Dallas and Fort Worth areas as well as the surrounding counties. Pick-up and delivery for other clock repair is only available for the Arlington, Mansfield and Kennedale areas. Call for rates and scheduling. All work is by appointment only.
I cannot provide an appraisal for your clock. A person must be constantly engaged in the antique clock market in order to be up to date on clock values. I don't buy & sell clocks, therefore I'm not able to do this.
I am not a retailer of clock parts. There are several online retailers with large inventories that are able to assist you with your parts needs.
Please contact me anytime about your clock repair. Estimates are provided free of charge in-shop. I provide a written estimate and an approximate time of completion.
All work requires a 50% deposit. This is necessary because of the number of clocks I have seen "abandoned" during my career. Believe me, it happens.
I work by appointment only. This insures I can spend the time needed with you regarding your clock repair without distraction. Due to my workload I must insist that you not call me just to "talk clocks". As much as I might enjoy it, it takes time away from customers waiting for their clock to be repaired. If you need to schedule an appointment for estimate or for an in-home service call, the best times to reach me are from 10-5 CST weekdays or 10-2 on Saturday. If my voicemail indicates a different schedule, please call during those times.
I do not provide repair services for the 31 day Asian clocks, battery operated anniversary clocks or battery clocks that retail for under $100. These clocks can be categorized as replacement items.
I can provide service for high grade music boxes. These will normally have a 72-tooth comb.
If you want a price quote before bringing or shipping your clock here, I am happy to supply one. You may contact me with a description of your clock and the problem that you are having, and I will attempt to give an approximate price range, for your information and convenience. Prices given in this manner may not be 100% accurate, and they are not the basis of a contract between you and me. Therefore, they should not be considered "firm" or "binding". They should be considered a general guide only, and the actual price quoted upon inspection in the shop, may be higher or lower.
